THEATRE SCHOOL

True Talent Theatre School is for students aged 6 - 18 years who would like to learn Acting, Singing & Dance.

Drama

Our drama classes are full of variety, excitement and creativity. Students learn all aspects of acting whilst having fun and making lifelong friends. We cover a large variety of techniques including improvisation, comedy, characterisation, devising and musical theatre.

We also have regular opportunities to perform in front of the camera.

Singing

Our singing classes are for all abilities and taught by professionals. We teach rhythm, tone, pitching, diction, harmony and performance skills. Singing in a group is a great way to bond and be part as a team. Soloists are also encouraged to perform and we all love to hear their progress at our regular performances.

Dance.

Our dance classes are structured, challenging and enjoyable. Many different styles are taught throughout the year, including street, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary. 

We always start with a fun warm up and then move onto a choreographed routine. All of our students are encouraged to make suggestions, whether that may be a step, a piece of music or a solo performance!

Performance.

We have regular performances in professional venues for all of our student to take part in. Some are end of term productions, with lights, sets and costumes. Others are work in progress for parents/carers and siblings to see what we've been up to.

Casting.

All of our students are eligible to join True Talent Casting in Huddersfield and Leeds, giving them the opportunity to work in professional theatre, TV, film and radio.

Our Fees

  • £20 for a 3 hour session, paid per calendar month.

  • £10 for a 60 minute session, paid per calendar month.
